It is time to say good bye

I hope you’ve enjoyed following our explorations in France as much as I have enjoyed sharing them with you! It’s been 11 years since that first post but in truth I can only really claim 10 of those years because as you have probably observed, I’ve not made a post since spring of 2024.

After a year of arguing mentally with myself over ending this blog journey, I am finally ready to say good bye and explore other pursuits. Priorities have shifted – there are grandchildren now and I want to cherish every possible moment with them. In addition, I’ve gone back to painting and find that my love for creating with watercolors is where I want to spend any free time I have.

Thank you for reading, commenting, and sharing my posts, and for giving me encouragement in the early phases to keep up with this project! I will continue to post photos of our travels on Facebook where I will include more details than in the past since there will not be a webpage to link to.

Prints of my travel photos and projects which include these photos such as multi-sized bags, notebooks, pillows, etc can still be found at https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/france-travel

The blog will remain active through June.

For now, please enjoy of my favorite photos over the years.
